Krasnoyarsk residents are asked not to believe the myths about the “Pushkin Map”

12 June 18:29

Despite the fact that the Pushkin Card program has been in effect for several years, there are still many misconceptions around it. Some of them relate to the rules for using the card, others concern the interests of the program participants themselves.

Thus, many are sure that the Pushkin Card can be used until the end of the calendar year, even if its owner is already 23 years old. However, this is not true: the card is only valid until your birthday. However, tickets purchased in advance remain valid even after the card expires.

Another common misconception is related to ticket refunds. Some people believe that money for a ticket purchased using the Pushkin Card cannot be returned. In fact, when a refund is issued, the funds are automatically credited back to the card balance.

It also does not confirm the idea that young people rarely use the card to go to the movies. On the contrary, the experience of program participants from the Krasnoyarsk Territory shows that film screenings remain one of the most popular activities among users.

These and other facts about the program are collected in the multimedia project “Gun in the Pocket: Experience of Krasnoyarsk”, dedicated to the use of the “Pushkin Card” in the region.

The project was implemented by Siberian Federal University student Anastasia Tomenchuk with the support of the project office of the Pushkin Map program in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Let us remind you that from January 1, 2025, the “Pushkin Card” program became part of the “Family” national project. Its goal is to support families with children, strengthen traditional family values and create conditions for improving the quality of life of Russian families.
