The Towards Change Foundation announces an impact startup competition

T2, a Russian mobile operator, announces that the Towards Change Foundation is holding an open competition “Towards Impact Startups”. Applications for the competition will be accepted until July 10, 2026.
Impact startup
A business created to solve pressing social or environmental problems that strives for self-sufficiency and profit generation. Unlike classic charitable foundations, such projects are scalable and built on the principles of commercial viability.
The winners will receive access to a professional development program for up to three years and grants from 750 thousand to 1 million rubles.
Leaders of social startups with innovative solutions to social and environmental problems, social entrepreneurs, authors of early-stage projects (idea, prototype or existing project/organization no more than three years old) are invited to participate.
The competition is held in three categories:
- projects that solve problems of children and youth;
- projects that solve social and environmental problems (outside the sphere of childhood);
- projects using digital technologies (applications, platforms, online services, AI solutions).
The winners will receive an “Incubator” development program (from 1 to 3 years) with participation in strategic sessions, work with experts and mentors, training, exchange of experience, as well as financial support – grants from 750 thousand to 1 million rubles.
According to representatives of the fund, the program is aimed at creating an individual development track for each participant using business technologies and mentoring from experts.
One of the winners of previous years noted that thanks to participation in the competition, people with special needs and disabilities were able to find work.
