In Achinsk, construction of two eight-story buildings will begin to resettle residents from emergency housing. This was reported by the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The houses will be built on Dekabristov Street under the program for relocating citizens from emergency housing of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”. Construction will start this year.
270 apartments are planned in the new buildings. Among them are 147 one-room, 105 two-room, 16 three-room and 2 four-room. The housing is intended for Achinsk residents who currently live in 49 dilapidated houses.
“The Achinsk Municipal District is allocated 1.4 billion rubles for the resettlement of people from dilapidated housing in 2026 and 2027. Of these, 1.2 billion is earmarked for the construction of houses, the rest of the funds will be used for compensation payments to those residents who want to take not an apartment, but money,” said the Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the region Maxim Govorushkin.
According to the minister, the site for construction has already been prepared. There are other new buildings and a public transport stop nearby. Apartments in new buildings were designed taking into account the housing parameters of future migrants. According to the terms of the program, the new apartment cannot be smaller in area than the previous one. Construction of the houses will be completed in 2027.
In total, from 2025 to 2030, 377 thousand square meters of emergency housing are planned to be resettled in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The program included about 1 thousand apartment buildings in 52 municipalities in the region.
