Zeljko Kopic revealed what the first offers are, after leaving Dinamo: “We had some discussions”

Last Friday, Zeljko Kopic's departure from Dinamo was made official, and on Tuesday evening the Croatian returned to Bucharest to collect his last things. Upon arrival at Otopeni Airport, the former coach of the “dogs” gave his first statements after leaving the club.
He revealed that he has no concrete offer on the table at the moment, although there has been speculation in recent days that he could be attracted to a €1m-plus-a-season deal in Saudi Arabia.
Kopic admitted that he had offers and opportunities in the past, but stated that the only professional option under discussion now is to work with a television station in Croatia, where he would analyze this summer's World Cup matches.
At the same time, the 47-year-old technician revealed that the decision to leave Dinamo had been taken before the Conference League tie with FCSB, lost by the red-whites with a score of 1-2, stressing that his decision was not influenced by the result of that match.
Zeljko Kopic: “I don't have any offer at the moment. I'm in talks with some TV stations”
“I don't have any offers at the moment. There is this stereotype in football, this way of thinking: «He leaves because he has a much better offer». This is not the case.
In the past there were certain discussions and opportunities, but I was at Dinamo, and that was all that mattered to me. My decision did not depend on whether or not we qualified for the European Cups.
I have a very good relationship with the shareholders of Renovatio, it's no secret. I told them before the last game that this is my decision, regardless of the result. It was important to me that the club behaved correctly.
I sat at the table with Mr. Nicolescu, I explained the situation and how I feel. Life goes on. Now it only matters how Dinamo will look in the future.
I hope to find a new project quickly and continue working. If it doesn't happen right away, I already have some talks to analyze matches on televisions in Croatia. I haven't made any plans yet. From tomorrow I will start thinking about the next step”, Zeljko Kopic said at the airport, upon returning to Romania.
