An underground passage has almost been installed on the Bypass of Krasnoyarsk

Road workers are completing the installationelements of the underground passage on the Bypass highway of Krasnoyarsk near Solontsy.

Let us remind you that the construction of the structure began on June 5 from 60 prefabricated reinforced concrete elements. Each is 2.5 m high, 4 m wide, and weighs about 10 tons. The length of the tunnel will be 60 meters.

“Today, the installation of these elements is almost complete, only a few remain to be installed, after which the contractor will begin sealing the seams, applying waterproofing and finishing work, which should be completed within two weeks. Then the road workers will fill the foundation pit and begin restoring the route,” they said. CRUDOR.

Also construction of the exit from Solontsy to the highway continues and a turning loop in the direction from the Northern Highway to Kotelnikov Avenue. Approximately 3/4 of the excavation is completed.

“After the working marks reach the design level, specialists will lay the bottom layer of asphalt concrete pavement, install new road signs and apply markings,” they added. CRUDOR.
