Stainless steel has stopped tarnishing: I add one product when washing – and the pots shine like new again

Over time, even a new stainless steel pan will begin to take on a dull rainbow or matte hue. The metal loses its original luster, and unpleasant whitish stains appear immediately after washing. Many people blame hard tap water or poor-quality dishwashing detergent. But in fact, the main reason is the accumulation of microscopic particles of superheated fat and mineral salts, which are firmly eaten into the metal structure.

Most people try to save the dishes with steel wool or abrasive powders, but this only scratches the protective layer and makes the surface even more vulnerable to new stains. The metal darkens faster and loses its non-stick properties, losing its original characteristics. You can restore shine and cleanliness without aggressive household chemicals. It is enough to wipe the walls with ordinary table vinegar and leave it on the surface for fifteen minutes. Vinegar breaks down lime deposits, neutralizes alkaline residues and delicately brightens the metal from the inside.

This component dissolves mineral contaminants, lifts plaque particles from the surface and prevents the formation of rainbow stains in the future. The pots will be sparkling clean, smell great, and any residual odor will disappear completely after a simple rinse. Do this procedure once every one to two months, and your kitchen utensils will maintain their perfect appearance without turning into dull dishes even after many uses.
