The drone exploded in Constanța, out of control
The marine drone that exploded on Friday, June 5, in berth 78 of Constanta Port was part of a group of four other Ukrainian drones, over which the Ukrainian Army lost control. And the other three drones self-detonated – two at sea and the third outside the port, the Government announced on Friday evening, in a statement in which it presented a chronology of the incident.
In the afternoon, Ukrainian naval forces confirmed that the marine drone that exploded in the port of Constanta belonged to them, adding that they had lost control of the craft due to Russian electronic warfare means.
The explosion of the marine drone in Constanța took place a week after the incident in Galaţi, where a Russian drone crashed into a block of flats and exploded.
