Krasnoyarsk residents are invited to free “Music Fridays”

The season of “Musical Fridays” starts in Krasnoyarsk – in During June and August, municipal musical groups will perform free of charge in open areas of the city.

According to tradition, toconcerts are organized at the end of the working week on Tatyshev Island and the Central Embankment, with 19:00.

As the mayor's office said, the Krasnoyarsk Chamber Orchestra will open the season of “Musical Fridays” – the concert will take place in the new stage complex of Tatyshev Island on June 5. The group will perform popular classics (Grieg, Bizet-Shchedrin, Shostakovich, Piazzolla) and famous melodies from films.

Program of performances within “Musical Fridays”:

• June 19 – Krasnoyarsk Brass Band (Central Embankment);
• June 26 – Krasnoyarsk Chamber Choir (Central Embankment);
• August 7 – Krasnoyarsk Chamber Orchestra (Tatyshev);
• August 14 – Krasnoyarsk Chamber Choir (Tatyshev);
• August 21 – Krasnoyarsk Brass Band (Central Embankment);
• August 28 – folk song ensemble “Krasny Yar” (Central Embankment).
