InPost hit the jackpot. Thousands of suitcases sold quickly

The new suitcases introduced by InPost sold out quickly. The company's head, Rafał Brzoska, announced the success of the project.
“When it comes to suitcases, we actually sold out everything in less than 24 hours. We are getting more deliveries and they will come.” — said Brzoska on the sidelines of the “Choose France” summit in Paris.
Thousands of pieces sold almost immediately
The president of InPost did not want to reveal the exact number of suitcases sold, but admitted that the interest was huge.
“Thousands were sold within the first hour. Today we have several thousand subscriptions for the next pieces.” – he emphasized.
According to Brzoska, the scale of demand was so great that the company is already working on further deliveries and new partnerships related to the product.

An alternative to expensive airline luggage
The new suitcase was designed with travelers in mind. It has detachable wheels and dimensions adapted to parcel locker boxes, so it can be sent like a standard parcel.
The product is intended to be a response to increasingly higher baggage fees on airlines. A suitcase can be sent from seven European countries directly to a parcel locker in Poland. The list includes, among others: France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
Brzoska also revealed that he talked about the project during the investment summit in France.
“We talked about this product with the French Minister of Transport. He said it was 'brilliant',” said the president of InPost.
InPost is looking for another hit and challenges airlines
According to the head of InPost, the new service may encourage tourists to make larger purchases abroad.
“If I could fly to France, buy two bottles of wine, olive oil or cheese and just ship them, I would leave that money where I am instead of worrying about the cost of extra baggage.” – explained Brzoska.
According to him, travelers often give up shopping during trips, fearing high fees for transporting additional items by plane.
The suitcase costs PLN 320, allows you to transport up to 25 kg of luggage, and the delivery time to Poland is from 3 to 5 business days, depending on the country of origin.
