Trump, message to Americans in full exchange of attacks with Iran: “Keep calm and relax”

American President Donald Trump tried on Monday, June 1, to calm fears about the escalation of the conflict between the United States and Iran, sending an optimistic message to the population, in the context in which the two states continued to exchange military attacks.

The White House leader said the situation would be resolved and insisted Iranian authorities were interested in a deal, reports The Independent.
“Keep calm and relax, everything will work out in the end – it always does!” Trump wrote on his social network. He added that Iran “he really wants to make a deal.”

The statements come at a time when tensions between Washington and Tehran continue to rise.
New attacks between the US and Iran
According to Iranian authorities, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps targeted an airbase previously used in a US attack on a telecommunications tower on Sirik Island.
At the same time, Kuwaiti authorities announced that they had intercepted several missiles.
For its part, the US military said it carried out over the weekend “self-defense strikes” against Iranian radar and drone control facilities in response to what Washington described as aggressive actions by Tehran.
The United States Central Command also announced that Iran shot down an American MQ-1 drone operating over international waters.
The fragile truce collapsed
Exchanges of attacks have intensified in the past week, following the failure of negotiations to extend the ceasefire and reopen the Strait of Hormuz to international maritime traffic.
The Strait of Hormuz is one of the most important maritime routes for the transportation of oil and natural gas worldwide, and any disruption to traffic in the area can have effects on global energy markets.
Iran accuses the US of violating the ceasefire
The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammed Bagher Ghalibaf, accused the United States of violating the truce with military actions carried out over the weekend.
In a message published on the X Network, the Iranian official claimed that the US-imposed naval blockade and what he called “escalation of war crimes” committed by Israel in Lebanon are evidence of non-compliance with the ceasefire agreement.
“Every choice has a price, and the bill will come due. Everything will work out,” Ghalibaf transmitted.
The conflict between the United States and Iran thus continues to generate concern at the international level, as the prospects for a diplomatic solution remain uncertain, and mutual attacks risk further destabilizing the Middle East region.
