Enrollment for Baccalaureate 2026 begins. Necessary documents and deadline

The Ministry of Education has set the calendar for the 2026 Baccalaureate exam, including the registration period for the summer session. Final year students and graduates from previous years must submit their files to educational institutions, in the officially established period, in order to participate in the exam.

The 2026 Baccalaureate exam enters the registration phase, and 12th and 13th grade students must submit their files during the period established by the Ministry of Education. Registration is mandatory for all candidates who want to participate in the national exam tests.

Registration for Baccalaureate 2026 starts on June 2

According to the calendar announced by the Ministry of Education, registrations for the summer session of the Baccalaureate 2026 take place between June 2-4, 2026.

At this stage, 12th and 13th grade students must submit their files to the high schools where they studied. Registration is mandatory for all candidates who wish to take the national exam tests.

In the case of graduates from previous promotions, registration is done at the centers established by the school inspectorates.

Documents required for enrollment at the Baccalaureate

To register for Baccalaureate 2026, candidates must prepare a file with standard documents. The list may vary slightly depending on the high school, but usually several essential documents are required.

The required documents include the registration form, copy of the identity card, copy of the birth certificate, matriculation certificate and, in some cases, a passport-type photo. A graduation certificate may also be required for graduates from previous promotions, and where appropriate, documents regarding the equivalence of skills are added.

In many situations, some of these documents are already in the student's file, and registration is completed by confirming the data at the high school secretariat.

Who can register for the Baccalaureate summer session

Students from the final high school classes, as well as graduates from previous promotions who did not pass the exam, can register for the 2026 Baccalaureate.

Candidates who want to improve their marks in certain tests can also participate.

An essential aspect is the conclusion of the school situation. Students must have passed all high school classes to be able to take the exam.

Students who have corrigencies cannot enroll in the Baccalaureate until they pass the outstanding exams. Only after the end of the school situation are they considered graduates and can participate in the exam session.

Complete exam calendar

The summer session of the Baccalaureate 2026 takes place in several stages, from registration to the publication of final results.

Enrollment runs from 2nd to 4th June 2026 and classes for terminal classes end on 4th June 2026.

The skills assessment starts immediately after this period. The oral communication test in Romanian (test A) takes place between June 8 and 10, 2026. The mother tongue skills (test B) take place between June 10 and 11, and the skills in a foreign language (test C) between June 11 and 12. Digital tests (D test) are scheduled between June 15 and 17, 2026.

The written tests start at the end of June. The Romanian language and literature (Ea test) is scheduled for June 29, the mandatory profile test (Ec) on June 30, and the optional profile and specialization test (Ed) on July 2. Mother language and literature (Eb) is held on July 3, 2026.

The initial results are displayed on July 7, 2026, followed by the appeals and review period between July 7 and 10. The final results will be published on July 13, 2026.
