Svetlana Masterkova, a two-time Olympic champion and world champion in athletics, is being discharged from the hospital. Surgery on the tumor that was discovered in her head has not yet been required.

Masterkova was admitted to the neurosurgical department on June 5 in a condition of moderate severity.
