Nicusor Dan goes to Galati, accompanied by the Minister of Defense, Radu Miruță

President Nicușor Dan will go to Galați, the city in the center of attention tonight after a drone, “of Russian origin” as announced by MApN, hit a residential block, official sources tell HotNews.
The president's visit to Galaţi was quickly prepared in advance, after he announced the conclusions of the CSAT meeting.
According to official sources, the president will go to the hospital where the 14-year-old boy who was injured in the explosion is hospitalized, as well as to the block that was affected by the explosion.
The event scheduled today in Cotroceni, at 5:00 p.m., namely a decoration ceremony for Nadia Comăneci, has been postponed until tomorrow, at 12:00 p.m., say the same sources.
The incident in Galați in which two people were injured occurred after a Russian Geran-2 drone deviated from its route and entered Romanian territory and hit a residential block in the municipality of Galați, stated President Nicușor Dan in a press statement at the end of the CSAT meeting.
He emphasized that “the entire responsibility belongs to Russia”, which is why Romania took the following measures:
“The Consul General of the Russian Federation in Constanța has been declared persona non grata and the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Constanța will close”, announced Nicușor Dan.
The President emphasized that Romania will strengthen itself through the SAFE program in the air defense area. “The contracts are being signed these days, and we will have the delivery in a year or two.”
