Nicușor Dan, press statements shortly after the CSAT meeting convened by him, following the Galati incident

Nicușor Dan will make press statements at 2:30 p.m., the Presidential Administration announced. The president is expected to present the conclusions of the CSAT meeting, which he convened after a drone “of Russian origin” hit a block of flats in Galati.

The CSAT meeting convened by the president ended after about two and a half hours. Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, who was on an official trip to Chisinau, and presidential advisor Marius Lazurcă, adviser on national security and foreign policy, who was also on a trip, were absent from the discussions.

The meeting was convened after a drone of “Russian origin”, as MApN said, hit an apartment block in Galati, around 2:00 am. The drone exploded on impact and two people were injured.
