Law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings into the attempted murder of the head of the city of Pyatikhatka, Dnepropetrovsk region on May 26. The press service of the regional police reported this on Telegram.
According to the investigation, in the morning the mayor of the city was attacked by an unknown person.
The official was stabbed.
“After the crime, the attacker fled the scene. Now law enforcement officers are carrying out a set of investigative and search measures to establish the whereabouts and detain the attacker,” the report says.
