In Krasnoyarsk, state traffic inspectors detained a 33-year-old drunk driver, due to whose fault his young son was injured in an accident.

It was established that the man, along with his wife and child in a Toyota car, was returning from a cafe where he drank alcohol. Moving along Railway Street, he collided with a Lixiang car.
As a result of the accident, a 5-year-old boy, who was in the rear passenger seat of the Toyota without a child restraint and was not wearing a seat belt, was injured. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he received one-time medical assistance.
When examining the father-driver, the breathalyzer showed 1.305 mg/l, which significantly exceeds the permissible limit.

For driving while intoxicated, a report was drawn up against the offender under Part 1 of Art. 12.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, the sanction of which includes a fine of 45,000 rubles and deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of 1.5 to 2 years.
