Prices at stations across the EU. Diesel breaks records for price increases


April's increase is acceleration compared to the level in March, when the increase in fuel prices was 12.9%.

Against this background, the situation in Poland looked exceptionally stable – in our case the increase was 8.8%. year on year, which was one of the lowest results in the Community.

Prices at gas stations have become a fact in every Member State, with price increases exceeding the 20% barrier in 15 EU countries. Residents of Luxembourg, where fuel prices increased by 33.8%, as well as those of France and Sweden (in both cases by 29.3%) had to reach deepest into their pockets.. The wallets of drivers in Latvia (plus 28.1%) and Bulgaria (plus 27.8%) were also hit very hard. At the other extreme, next to Poland, was Hungary with a modest increase of 1.5%. and Italy, where prices jumped by 12.9%.
