What will the weather be like on Monday?
The weather continues to warm up across the country on Monday, but especially in the west and northwest of the country, where temperatures will be higher than normal for this time of year, according to forecasters. Rains will be possible, but of short duration in limited areas in the east and in the area of the Eastern Carpathians.
Today, the maximum temperatures will be between 23 and 30 degrees, and the minimum on Tuesday morning will be between 8 and 18 degrees, lower in the depressions in eastern Transylvania by 4 degrees, according to ANM.
And in the capital, the weather will warm up compared to the weekend. On Monday, 28 degrees are expected at noon and possible showers of short duration in the evening.
And in the coming days, temperatures will rise against the background of a warm air mass that will also affect our country, according to the director of ANM, Elena Mateescu.
What will the weather be like on Tuesday?
According to the ANM forecast, on Tuesday, the maximum temperatures will be between 24 and 31 degrees, and the minimum temperatures will be between 9 and 19 degrees, lower in depression areas, up to 6…7 degrees in eastern Transylvania.
And in Bucharest, on Tuesday, the weather will be nice and warm for this date. The thermometer will show 28 degrees in the afternoon.
Wednesday, the warmest day
On Wednesday, the weather will be warm in the west, south and elsewhere. The maximum temperatures will be between 27 and 33 degrees, with the highest values in Banat and Crișana, and the minimums will be between 6 and 17 degrees. Starting in the afternoon there will be storms in the mountain areas, north, northeast and in narrow areas in the center, then mainly in the east and southeast.
And in the capital on Wednesday, it will be warmer than usual for the end of May. Skies will be variable, with some clouds in the evening and overnight, when the probability of showers, lightning and short-lived wind increases will increase. The maximum temperature will be 29…30 degrees, and the minimum will be 14…15 degrees.
Temperatures drop sharply on Thursday
Starting Thursday, temperatures will drop sharply and the weather will cool across the country. The maximum temperatures will generally be between 20 and 26 degrees, and the minimum between 4 and 12 degrees. Rain will be possible, especially in southern regions.
And in Bucharest the weather will cool down. During the day, the thermal regime will be close to that specific for the date, but at night it will have lower values than usual, according to the ANM forecast.
The maximum temperature will be around 23 degrees, and the minimum will be 10…11 degrees, lower in the pre-urban area, where it will be 8 degrees.
