During the massive attack of the aggressor country Russia on Kyiv on the night of May 24, about 300 objects were damaged. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced this on May 25 in Telegram.
According to him, work continues in two areas to eliminate the consequences of yesterday's attacks – Shevchenko and Podolsk. Almost 100 employees of the State Emergency Service were involved in them.
Most of the damaged objects were residential buildings. During May 24, claims were received regarding varying degrees of damage to almost 150 private and multi-storey buildings, Zelensky said.
According to the latest data, 87 people were injured, including three children. 21 people were hospitalized.
“In general, six of our regions suffered from yesterday’s shelling. There must be more protection: air defense support is a daily priority of Ukraine’s foreign policy work at all levels. And there must be pressure on the aggressor and responsibility for all these attacks,” the president emphasized.
