
On the night of May 23, the army of the aggressor country, Russia, attacked Ukraine with 124 drones, most of which were Shahed type. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in the morning on Telegram.
The occupiers' drones flew from the occupied Crimea, as well as from Bryansk, Kursk, Smolensk, Rostov regions and the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation.
As of 8.30, units of radio-electronic and unmanned systems and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down 102 UAVs.
12 drones were hit, and debris fell in five more places.
The consequences of a UAV attack last night in the Poltava region were shown by the State Emergency Service. An administrative building was on fire in the Poltava region.
In Shakhterskoye, Dnepropetrovsk region, an apartment building was damaged – rescuers evacuated 25 people from it, including 5 children.
