Speaking about a telephone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he noted that he is underestimated in the country as the head of government during the war period
Trump also told reporters that he had received a poll that showed his popularity among Israelis.
“My support in Israel is 99%, so maybe when I finish [быть президентом США]I will nominate my candidacy for the post of Prime Minister of Israel,” he added.

The next parliamentary elections in Israel should be held no later than October 27, 2026, but after the Knesset vote on self-dissolution, elections could take place as early as September 2026, writes Reuters.
