Trafficker arrested in Prahova. During the searches, the investigators found drugs, money and gold bars
A man was pre-arrested in a case of high-risk and high-risk drug trafficking, after investigators discovered during the searches almost 4.5 kilograms of cannabis, cocaine, significant sums of money and several gold bars.

A 32-year-old young man was pre-arrested for 30 days in a case of high-risk and high-risk drug trafficking, following an action carried out by DIICOT prosecutors and the police in Prahova. The investigators picked up almost 4.5 kilograms of cannabis, cocaine, money in lei and currency, as well as five gold bars.
According to the Prahova County Police Inspectorate, the suspect was caught red-handed on May 15, in the town of Drăgăneşti, while he had six sachets of cocaine in his car, as well as several kits used to grow hallucinogenic mushrooms.
Later, the investigators carried out three house searches in the Olari and Tomşani localities, from Prahova county, where they discovered a significant amount of drugs and other goods considered relevant for the investigation.
“Following 3 searches carried out in the towns of Olari and Tomşani, Prahova county, approximately 4.5 kilograms of cannabis, cannabis seeds, installations used for the growth and development of cannabis plants, grinders, scales, mobile phones and other material evidence were discovered and seized. At the same time, approximately 34,000 lei, 6,100 euros, 50 dollars, as well as and 5 gold bars, each weighing approximately 31.1 grams”, according to DIICOT.
On Saturday, May 16, DIICOT – Ploiesti Territorial Service prosecutors ordered the detention of the suspect for 24 hours, and later the judge of rights and freedoms decided on his preventive arrest for a period of 30 days.
