The prosecutor's office helped a serviceman from the Krasnoyarsk Territory register for disability and receive a pension.
A resident of Sharypov, discharged from military service for health reasons, for a long time could not pass a medical and social examination to establish a disability group for hearing diseases. To solve the problem, in February 2026, he turned for help to the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Sergei Zaitsev.
During the prosecutor's investigation, it turned out that in November 2025 the man tried to get a referral for an examination at the district hospital, but the documents were not given to him in a timely manner.
After the intervention of Sergei Zaitsev, a statement was made to the medical institution.
“As a result of the measures taken, a reprimand was issued to the head of the hospital department, the medical institution immediately prepared and transferred the necessary documents to the Main Bureau of Medical and Social Expertise in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, and based on the results of their consideration, the applicant was assigned disability group III and assigned a pension,” the press service of the supervisory agency reported.
As part of the patronage support, the serviceman was also given a social transport card and paid one-time financial assistance.
The prosecutor's office added that now in the region more than 28 thousand families of participants in the special military operation are covered by patronage support. Thanks to supervisory work, the rights of more than 2 thousand citizens have already been restored.
