In Krasnoyarsk, the director of a commercial organization and his accomplice will appear in court in the case of illegal export of timber to China, the prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory reported.

According to investigators, in 2020 and 2021 in Kansk, merchants purchased wood without documents of origin. Then it was stored, processed into lumber and sent abroad through the Zabaikalsk checkpoint. Fake documents were used to export timber. They indicated fictitious supply contracts and chains of counterparties. This information then entered accounting, commodity and customs documents.
