The newspaper “Birobidzhan Star” (12+) wrote on May 14, 1935 that on May 15 a patronage delegation from Kharkov was leaving for Birobidzhan. The delegation will organize assistance to Birobidzhan in the construction of a house for displaced people, a hospital, and a sound cinema.

Also, in order of patronage, departments of the Kharkov City Council will be attached to the departments of the Birobidzhan City Council, the plant named after. Shevchenko to the Londokovsky lime plant, the Red October plant to three brick factories, the Kharkov electromechanical plant to the power plant, the Kharkov locomotive plant to the mechanical repair plant, the Kharkov tractor plant to MTS, the factory named after. Temyakov to the garment factory, plant named after. Eideman to the bent furniture factory named after. Dimitrova, “Hammer and Sickle” to the plywood factory, Bicycle Factory to the Regional Communications Department, the fifth shoe factory to the shoe factory.
The same newspaper informed readers that a regional conference of party workers would take place in Birobidzhan.

By the decision of the competition commission, the challenge Red Banner was awarded to the collective farm “Molodaya Zarya” of the Blyukherovsky village council (now the Leninsky district of the Jewish Autonomous Okrug).

By a resolution of the bureau of the regional committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks and the executive committee of the regional Council of Workers' Deputies, the Birobidzhan region was awarded the challengeable Red Banner for the successful sowing of early grain grains by April 24, planting of early vegetables by May 10 and potatoes by May 13.

The newspaper “Birobidzhan Star” wrote on May 14, 1949 that the film essay “Birobidzhan” (0+), dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Jewish Autonomous Region, had been released.
At the beginning of the film there is an inscription: resolution of the Central Executive Committee of the USSR, signed by M.I. Kalinin – May 7, 1934 “On the transformation of the Birobidzhan Jewish National District into the Jewish Autonomous Region as part of the Far Eastern Territory.” The inscription is replaced by a map.
In one fraternal family, people of different nationalities work in the region: Russians, Jews and many other nationalities.
The fertile land generously rewards agricultural workers for their labors. The film shows a joyful picture of the harvest: at the experimental station, girls are picking apples; in suburban collective farms, potatoes, watermelons, and tomatoes are being harvested. Hunters hunt in forests rich in fur. Fishing is successful in rivers rich in fish.
The film tells about the natural resources hidden in the depths of the Jewish Autonomous Region, about enterprises in the region that mine gold, tin, lime, and marble.
The screen shows the famous monument on Volochaevskaya Sopka.

The newspaper “Birobidzhan Star” on May 14, 1982 wrote on its pages about the construction of a greenhouse complex in Birobidzhan. Large funds were allocated for construction purposes – more than 5 million rubles. It is planned to build a modern greenhouse complex with an area of six hectares. The creation of the Birobidzhansky state farm, which is based on a greenhouse complex, will become a practical implementation of the food program put forward by the Central Committee of the CPSU. Construction of the complex began in February 1979. For the Birobidzhan greenhouse, the customer received all the equipment three years ago.
To manage the construction, the CPSU city committee created an operational headquarters. He regularly holds weekly planning meetings and, to a certain extent, coordinates the actions of builders.

The newspaper published information that a letter was received from Moscow, from the editorial board of the magazine “Young Artist” to the Birobidzhan City Art School, in which it was reported that several young Birobidzhan residents would be exhibited at an exhibition of children's creativity in the Kremlin Palace of Congresses during the 19th Congress of the Komsomol.
