Bushes come to life before our eyes: 3 homemade fertilizers stretch even the frailest tomatoes

When tomatoes wither, turn yellow at the edges, the stems become thinner, and there are almost no ovaries, you should not immediately tear out the bushes. Often the plant simply does not have enough microelements, and the problem can be solved without expensive chemicals. Common products that can be found in any kitchen cabinet help with this.

The first step is iodine irrigation.

Dissolve one or two drops of pharmaceutical iodine in a liter of settled water. Gently water each bush at the root, using no more than half a liter per plant. Carry out the procedure once every two weeks. The product strengthens the root system and creates a natural barrier against fungal infections.

The second step is yeast mash.

Dissolve ten grams of dry yeast in ten liters of lukewarm water. Add two tablespoons of sugar to activate fermentation. Leave the mixture for a couple of hours, then dilute it with plain water in a ratio of one to five and water the beds. This is a natural stimulant that accelerates the growth of green mass and awakens flower buds. Once a month is enough.

The third step is ash feeding.

Sprinkle a thin layer of wood ash directly around the stems or stir one cup of ash into a bucket of water for watering. This technique saturates the soil with potassium and phosphorus, which are responsible for the sweetness of the fruit and general resistance to weather changes.

In just a week, the tomatoes will noticeably change. The leaves will take on a richer color, the flowering will become more magnificent, and the ovaries will begin to form more smoothly.
