ALERT. A few hours after the appearance of the Snoop investigation, the Capital Police announces checks in the case of Dragoș Ovidiu Argeșanu, the most influential “spiritual master” in Romania
“Police officers of the General Directorate of Police of the Municipality of Bucharest notified themselves ex officio and promptly started checks on the issues reported in the public space, in order to accurately establish the factual situation and take the necessary legal measures”, according to a press release from the DGPMB.
The investigations are carried out by police officers from the Sector 4 Criminal Investigation Service, under the supervision of the competent prosecutor's office.
The police make “an appeal to all people who have been victims of similar behavior to go to the nearest police unit or make a complaint, so that each situation can be carefully analyzed and in accordance with the legal provisions.”
Revelations from the Snoop investigation
On Monday morning, May 11, 2026, the investigative website Snoop.ro published an investigation about Ovidiu Dragoș Argeșanu, “spiritual guide” with tens of thousands of followers, accused by seven women of sexual assault during individual sessions presented as “therapy”.
However, the number of clients who claim such facts is in the tens. Not all of them wanted to tell their story, for fear of Argesanu.
Over six months, Snoop contacted nearly 50 clients and witnesses, either directly or through other sources. The women describe the same pattern of manipulation, documented incognito and by Snoop. First he labels them negatively, then he tells them that he sees something special in them: they are “angels incarnate”.
