“Volchara is shameful.” “A coward and a liar with a scoop in his head.” Why Vinnik's new interview is a fiasco

An artist of Ukrainian origin living in Germany, Oleg Vinnik, continues to broadcast Russian propaganda narratives in the public information space. In an interview with Ukrainian journalist Natasha Vlashchenko, which was recorded in Germany, he stated that at the time of the full-scale invasion of the aggressor country, the Russian Federation was “in Ukraine.” The video was published on May 9 on YouTube.

Vlaschenko corrected him.

“In Ukraine?” – she clarified.

“Yes,” he confirmed.

Ukrainian journalist Lena Chichenina drew attention to this on the Threads social network. She called Vinnik’s new interview a fiasco.

“Poor Oleg, he screwed up incredibly. I was traveling now, collecting money at concerts. And now it’s all over,” she noted.

“In Ukraine”. “Volchar is shameful,” they reacted online.

“In Ukraine? He’s not just a coward and a liar, he also has a scoop in his head,” they were outraged in the comments.
