A 23-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk will stand trial for attempted murder during a brawl.
The incident occurred on the night of November 4, 2025 on Mira Avenue. It was established that the security guard at the Ryumka bar had finished his shift and was waiting for friends who worked in neighboring establishments. At some point, a girl I knew ran inside, said that a fight had broken out in the street, and asked for help. The guy immediately jumped out.
“One of his friends was already lying on the ground, and an unfamiliar man was holding him on top. The guard decided that his comrade was in real danger, jumped up to the enemy from behind, grabbed his hand around the neck and squeezed tightly. The chokehold worked quickly – the man lost consciousness and went limp. However, the attacker did not just let him go, but threw his lifeless body away from him. The victim fell head first onto the asphalt, the blow struck the right side of his face and head. Only minutes separated him from death – the ambulance arrived in time,” the prosecutor’s office said.

The prosecutor confirmed the charge of attempted murder against the defendant (part 3 of article 30, part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). But he himself insists that he just wanted to separate the fighters, he did not strangle the man to death and did not intend to kill him.
The Central District Court of Krasnoyarsk will soon consider the criminal case.
