President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky summed up the results of the first day of his visit to Armenia and named three main tasks in cooperation with partners. He wrote about this on Telegram on May 3.
According to the head of state, the main focus during the meetings was on coordination with European partners ahead of the summit of the European Political Community.
He noted that there are currently three main areas that Ukraine is working on together with its allies.
The first direction is to bring a just end to the war closer. The President informed his partners about the state of diplomatic efforts, possible prospects and planned contacts, emphasizing the need to increase pressure on Russia.
“Joint efforts are needed to intensify diplomacy and prevent the pressure on the aggressor from weakening. Russia must end this war. Thanks to everyone who is with Ukraine,” the president emphasized.
The second priority, according to him, is the implementation of the European support package for Ukraine in the amount of €90 billion. The Ukrainian side is working to accelerate the receipt of this funding.
The third task, as the president notes, concerns strengthening air defense (air defense) and energy support.
“We are already actively preparing for the new heating season and are diversifying the appropriate support. I informed about all the needs for protection and restoration,” the head of state noted, thanking international partners.
