Bolojan talks about the scenario of Nicușor Dan's suspension: “I wouldn't trust the PSD leadership”
Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan declared that, in the current political climate, a possible suspension of President Nicușor Dan cannot be ruled out, at the same time criticizing the PSD leadership.

In an intervention on Rock FM, Ilie Bolojan was asked if the current political crisis could lead to such a situation. Bolojan replied that, although he cannot make definite statements, the developments of recent years raise questions.
“I cannot make such statements with certainty. But, based on the way I have seen things unfold in recent years, including with the current PSD leadership, actions like this would be possible and I would not trust the PSD leadership.” he said.
The PNL leader harshly criticized the social democrats, citing “the lies circulated in the public space”, “lack of responsibility” and “double language”.
He mentioned the position of the PSD leader, Sorin Grindeanu, who would have ruled out a collaboration with the AUR in the discussions in Brussels, so that later the party would initiate a censure motion together with this formation.
“You can't rely on such commitments,” Bolojan pointed out, suggesting that the inconsistencies in PSD's speech affect political trust.
Regarding the no-confidence motion to be debated next week, Prime Minister Bolojan said that regardless of the result, the parties will later enter a new round of negotiations.
“The parties will meet, including the PNL, and will make some decisions depending on the outcome of this motion”he said, insisting on the importance of respecting collective decisions.
According to the Prime Minister, although there may be divergent opinions within the party, respecting the majority's decision is “an act of responsibility and normality”.
