Galatasaray is preparing to conquer the 26th title in history. The team coached by Okan Buruk (52 years old) has an away match against Samsunspor on Saturday, in the 32nd stage of the Turkish championship.

Galata need a win to secure the title, a formality considering that they are 7 points ahead of Fenerbahce with three legs to go. In the last stage, they destroyed their rival 3-0, a match after which Domenico Tedesco was dismissed by the rival.

Three days before the game, 40,000 fans attended an open training session and created a dream atmosphere.

The training session open to the public took place on RAMS Park.

The supporters, who started to populate the stands about two hours before training, waited for the footballers to leave the field singing. The moment the players entered the pitch was marked by a pyrotechnic show.

Training with a derby atmosphere started with warm-up exercises. During this time, the fans called the players one by one to greet them. The most requested were Victor Osimhen and Mauro Icardi. The last one called to the stands was coach Okan Buruk.

“The session continued with possession drills and ended with school matches on reduced pitches. During practice, torches lit simultaneously in all the stands created an impressive visual spectacle“, note those from halktv.com.

Some of the club's former footballers also attended the training: Johan Elmander, Sabri Sarioglu, Yekta Kurtuluş, Emre Colak, Hasan Kabze, Ryan Babel, Ryan Donk and Jimmy Durmaz. The fans paid them special attention and invited them to say hello.
