If your spathiphyllum has been standing with ordinary greenery for years and refuses to please with buds, do not rush to throw it away. Often a plant lacks just one element, and simple feeding can awaken “female happiness.”
Potassium blow to hibernation
Main the secret of lush flowering lies in potassium. Without it, spathiphyllum will live, but will not bloom. Agronomist Ksenia Davydova advises feeding the plant potassium sulfate.
Dilute 1 g of fertilizer in 1 liter of warm, settled water, mix thoroughly and pour under the root. Apply this fertilizer once every 14 days.
Perform 2–3 procedures in total. After this course, even the most stubborn bush will wake up: buds pop up like mushrooms after rainthe leaves stop turning yellow and grow the size of a palm.
Spray for shine and strength
Succinic acid is real energy drink for plants. It will not replace potassium, but will complement it perfectly: the leaves will become glossy, dense, and the risk of yellowing will disappear.
Take 0.2 g of powder or half a tablet per 1 liter of water. Pour into a spray bottle and spray the leaves on both sides every 10–14 days. It is better to do this in the morning so that the foliage dries out by evening.

- Choose a pot by size. In a huge tub, the flower will fatten and postpone flowering until later.
- The light should be diffused. Place the spathiphyllum on an east or west window.
- Don't fill it up. Before fertilizing, check the soil with your finger: if it’s damp, wait two days. Spathiphyllum tolerates mild drought more easily than a permanent swamp in a pot.
