Xavi (46), the former player and coach of Barcelona, spoke again about the failure of his comeback Lionel Messi (38 years old) at the club for which he wrote history. In a discussion with Romario, the Spanish technician recalled the negotiations in 2023 and clearly indicated who was responsible.

Lamine Yamal made his first-team debut on 29 April 2023, aged just 15, under Xavi, who remained on the Barcelona bench until the end of the following season.
