The Court of Appeal rejected, on December 9, the appeal of the former player of the Ligue 1 champion regarding the “lifting of the preventive seizure”, as announced by the French press.
In May 2025, PSG obtained the cancellation of the 55 million euro preventive seizure on the club's accounts, requested by Kylian Mbappe against his former employer.
The enforcement judge at the Paris Court of Justice has ordered the “lifting of the preventive seizure” on three Paris Saint-Germain accounts.

The decision was taken a few weeks after the amount was seized from the club's accounts at the Parc des Princes. The representatives of the attacker, who left in the summer for Real Madrid, contested this decision.
On December 9, the Paris Court of Appeal issued an order, thus rejecting Kylian Mbappé's appeal regarding the request to suspend the decision to “lift the preventive seizure” that he had placed on the club's accounts in April of last year, RMC Sport learned.

PSG counterattacks and requests, in turn, 440 million euros! This sum quantifies Mbappe's “disloyalty” in honoring the extra year of his contract when he had more transfer options, as well as the corresponding damage to PSG's image.
Contacted by RMC Sport, Mbappe's entourage did not respond to requests. On Tuesday, December 16, the two sides will meet again before the Conciliation Board, which will make its decision after last November's meeting.
