
The man who carried out the shooting at the White House Correspondents' Association dinner, which was attended by US President Donald Trump, was charged with attempted murder of the head of the White House. According to the AP, the suspect was read the indictment in federal court in Washington on April 27.
The man was also charged with transporting a firearm and ammunition and using a firearm during a violent crime.
The agency notes that the suspect did not admit guilt.
