Ukrainian singer Nastya Semchuk presented on YouTube on April 22 a new original track “Who am I without you” – an emotional work built on deep experiences and inner sensations. The singer wrote the words and music herself.
“This song is, first of all, an artistic image that I very carefully built as an artist. For me, it was not just a story or a set of words, but an attempt to create a certain mood and atmosphere in which you can feel more than is directly said. Although it is not a direct retelling of my life, this image allowed me to convey those deep emotions and aesthetics that I have long wanted to embody in my work. It is about internal sensations that are difficult to explain, but which are very easy to recognize when you live them,” the singer noted in a comment to the online publication GORDON.
She added that she created the new song with great love for her audience.
“It was important for me not just to write a song, but to convey through it the state that you feel at such moments. I really want every girl, listening to this track, to be able to live it as her own story, feel these emotions in her own way and find a reflection of her feelings in my words. After all, for me, music is always about honesty and not being afraid to feel deeply,” the artist noted.
The video for the song was filmed in Lvov.
