In Krasnoyarsk, police detained a healer suspected of fraud under the pretext of removing damage. This was reported to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.

A 26-year-old city resident contacted the police: according to her, almost 265 thousand rubles were stolen from her by deception. The story began in February, when the girl met a healer. The woman diagnosed a damage to her new friend and promised to help remove it. The girl agreed, despite the fact that the procedure was not cheap.

The victim followed all the healer’s instructions: she buried the money in the cemetery, brought her savings in a book and handed them over “for purification.” After each ceremony, the Krasnoyarsk woman paid – the amounts ranged from 1 to 20 thousand rubles. Later, a new acquaintance stated that the girl’s daughter also had damage, and the treatment continued – along with money transfers.

In addition to magical services, the suspect asked for funds under various pretexts: for medicine and even for the funeral of a relative.

Criminal investigation officers quickly identified the alleged fraudster – she turned out to be a 54-year-old local resident. A criminal case was opened against the woman under Part 3 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Fraud”. She faces up to 6 years in prison. An investigation is underway.
