On Pallas’s Day, “Roevoy Ruchek” told how Boris was doing and whether they had found him a bride

Today, April 23, Pallas's Day is celebrated all over the world. Employees of the Krasnoyarsk flora and fauna park “Roev Ruchey” told how Boris is doing and whether he manages to find a mate.
They recalled that the cat came to Krasnoyarsk last year from the Novosibirsk Zoo, where a world record for the number of Pallas’ cat cats was set. Now he feels calm in his enclosure.
“Boris is a serious, sedate cat. Doesn't pose, doesn't fawn. It simply exists – in its own rhythm, with its own character. Like a real steppe aristocrat. And we love him immensely for this,” writes Roev Ruchey.
The dream of the park employees is to find a bride for him. However, as the experience of Pallas Timofey from the Moscow Zoo has shown, this is not an easy task. In “Swarm Brook” they believe that somewhere there lives a female who will suit Boris.
The holiday will be celebrated at Roevoy Ruchey on Saturday, April 25. A demonstration feeding of Boris will be organized for visitors.
Pallas' cat day has no official status. In 2019, the international organization PICA, which protects these cats, scheduled it for April 23 to draw attention to the rare steppe cat. In Russia, the first such holiday was held back in 2017 at the Moscow Zoo.
