In Krasnoyarsk, police detained a 38-year-old resident of the Oktyabrsky district with a large amount of marijuana. This was reported to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.
Drug control department operatives found out that the suspect had set up a real plantation at home: he set up three tents in his apartment for growing cannabis. Among other things, the man rented non-residential premises, where he set up three more tents for growing marijuana.
During the inspection of the detainee's apartment, as well as rented premises, 39 cannabis bushes, parts of plants and ready-to-use marijuana, electronic scales and cardboard pizza boxes were discovered. As it turned out, the man used these boxes to transport prohibited substances from one place to another.

The total weight of the seized drugs was about 4.7 kilograms.
A criminal case was opened against the drug agronomist under Part 3 of Art. 30, paragraph “g”, part 4, art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Attempted illegal sale of narcotic drugs on a large scale”, as well as Part 1 of Art. 231 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Illegal cultivation of plants containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances or their precursors.”
He is now in custody.
