Antena Group won in the first instance one of the lawsuits with the former juror from the “Chefi la cutite” show, Sorin Bontea, writes PaginadeMedia. The decision can be appealed.
According to the quoted source, the Bucharest Court decided that Bontea must pay Antena damages of 100,000 euros “for the period between 04.11.2023 and until the date of the actual payment of the principal debt.” Court costs are added to these.
The decision is not final and may be appealed to the Court of Appeal.
A long line of processes
After three years ago, the three jurors from “Knife Chefs”, Sorin Bontea, Cătălin Scarlătescu and Florin Dumitrescu, refused to film the 13th season of the show, citing fatigue, Antena Group decided to sue them.
A long series of lawsuits followed between the two parties, especially as the three chefs then signed with PRO TV and began making Masterchef.
