Ukrainian teacher and blogger Ruslan Tsigankov, known to everyone as Ruslan Igorevich, became a father for the first time. He announced this on April 18, posting his first family photo on Instagram, which shows him with his wife, advertising agent Katerina Galaka and their newborn son Orestes.
He noted that the child was born on April 16. Tsigankov hid his wife’s pregnancy, so the news came as a complete surprise to many of his subscribers and literally undermined the social network – in just an hour, the post collected more than 40 thousand likes.
“Thank you, my love,” Tsygankov addressed his wife.
In December 2024 Tsygankov broke up with his girlfriend, who calls herself a tarot reader online. In October 2025, he reported that he was happy in his new relationship.
“A great man can only become next to a great woman. And I’m lucky,” he turned to his beloved Galaka. “Sometimes I don’t even notice how much you care about me and how you support me. You help and inspire me in everything. You showed me true unconditional love. And now I know how it is.”
At the end of December, Tsygankov announced that he and his chosen one registered marriage.
Context
Tsygankov works at the 176th Kiev Lyceum named after Miguel de Cervantes. He gained popularity like teacher Ruslan Igorevich after he began posting entertaining and educational videos on social networks.
At the end of June Tsygankov received the Order of Merit, III degree, from the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.
