Ciprian Ciucu announces total war with the PSD if the Bolojan government collapses: “Don't say you weren't warned! You bet wrong!”
Just a few days before the PSD meeting in which the social democrats will decide whether or not to support the Bolojan government, the first vice-president of the PNL, Ciprian Ciucu, attacks the PSD leader, Sorin Grindeanu, and reminds the PESEDists that the liberals will no longer form a coalition with the PSD if Bolojan is dismissed.
Ciprian Ciucu launches an attack on the PSD on Wednesday's post on Facebook by Sorin Grindeanu, in which he talked about the problems in the economy.
“Do you ever assume anything? To start talking about the state of the economy after you blew up the budget deficit, reaching the largest in the European Union, endangering the attraction of the billions of euros allocated to Romania, after you came in election years with measures that put the economy in a major risk zone, seems to me the height of lack of responsibility. The height of irresponsibility”, wrote Ciprian Ciucu on Facebook.
Ciucu, about Grindeanu: “A fixed president from the team that put the budget in pieces”
Ciprian Ciucu says that the social democrats “found Bolojan guilty”: “They, who have a fixed president from the team that put the budget in pieces”.
“We, the liberals, at least elected a credible president, with results in the county and in his city, which will last for generations. An honest president, without corruption scandals, who worked for the people and with the deed, not just with talk”, claims Ciucu, who accuses the PSD of attacking and blocking Bolojan “day by day, week by week”.
“When it came to cutting your privileges, you immediately decided to seize the Coalition's decisions! I shouldn't be surprised anymore, history repeats itself. But I'm still surprised, I can't get used to this irresponsible way of doing politics,” accuses the mayor of the Capital.
“The vast majority of the National Liberal Party will form a shield around Ilie Bolojan”
Ciprian Ciucu warns the PSD members that if they decide on Monday to withdraw political support for Ilie Bolojan, then they will “set fire to the country”.
“Don't say you weren't warned! Everything we've achieved so far, I would say, will be canceled together (including the drop in interest rates before the Gulf War). There will be no one to reach the targets in the PNRR and the European money will no longer come. The officials of the ministries, in the absence of political authority, will demobilize and we will miss important reforms. The ones put there last year in the governing program of the Coalition”, points out the first vice-president of the PNL.
He says that “Ilie Bolojan is not a puppet, as you are used to in the past. He will not resign.”
“Furthermore, the large majority of the National Liberal Party will form a shield around Ilie Bolojan. Because he is the man who at this moment can take the government forward. I remind you, the National Liberal Party decided at the last National Political Bureau THAT IT WILL NO LONGER MAKE A COALITION WITH PSD if PSD dismisses the Government through a motion of no confidence! And since the Prime Minister will not resign, you will have to dismiss him,” warns Ciucu.

Ciprian Ciucu also claims that the PSD is about to cause a political crisis “out of nothing”, because the social democrats “bet wrongly on the fact that PNL will betray Ilie Bolojan”: “PNL has found its soul, internal democracy, and we like it! We will not become your puppets again. We can collaborate, but from dignified positions and with mutual respect”.
“You don't have a plan, you don't have a vision for the country, you don't have anything. Only the privileges and interests for which you are willing to harm the country in order to keep them,” Ciucu also wrote on Facebook.
