A resident of Lesosibirsk was subject to criminal charges for fictitiously registering 11 migrants in an apartment and house

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a resident of Lesosibirsk became a defendant in a criminal case, having fictitiously registered 11 migrants.

The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region said that employees of the migration department identified 11 foreigners in Lesosibirsk who did not live at the place of registration.

It turned out that a 37-year-old local resident registered foreigners in her apartment and house without actually providing them with living space. For her “services” she received a reward of 10 thousand rubles.

A criminal case has been initiated against the woman under Art. 322.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Fictitious registration of a foreign citizen at the place of stay in the Russian Federation.” She faces a sentence of up to 5 years in prison. The defendant was given a preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the place and proper behavior.
