The Krasnoyarsk Capital Construction Department has announced a tender to find a contractor for the construction of a road from Erofeevskaya Street to Preobrazhenskaya Street.

In fact, the new road will become a continuation of Molodezhny Avenue. “This facility will allow connecting two roads. One of them – from Aviatorov Street to Preobrazhenskaya – is already under construction; in fact, it will become a backup for the Yenisei Highway and will relieve traffic to Solnechny. This road connects with a two-lane road along Sokolovskaya Street. Flows will be distributed evenly when a new six-lane road is built parallel to Sokolovskaya,” explained the head of the urban planning department, Alexander Navrodsky,

It is planned that when entering Solnechny from Preobrazhenskaya, 8 lanes will be opened at once – two-lane backup roads, and between them there will be a main highway of 4 lanes. The length of each will be 700 m, they will be separated by a lawn and green spaces. From backups, vehicles will be able to turn onto side streets and drive up to residential buildings.
The contractor must also build a storm drain and sidewalks, install lighting poles, traffic lights and stops, arrange lawns and plant trees.
The initial cost of the contract is 366.3 million rubles. The results of the auction will be announced at the end of April.
And the new road is planned to open by the end of 2027.
