What will the time of Resurrection be like? Meteorologists have announced in which areas it will rain / Weather for Easter day as well
Romanians who go to the Resurrection service tonight must prepare for a rather cold night, with negative temperatures in some areas and rain. However, the weather will improve tomorrow, when maximums of 14-16 degrees are expected, including in Bucharest, ANM meteorologist Robert Manta announced for HotNews on Saturday.
“Quite cold weather, especially at night, in the northern half of the country, especially in the morning negative temperatures, towards zero degrees. In the other areas, in particular the southern area, the Capital, temperatures of 2-4 degrees, so quite cold weather even so. Fortunately, the wind will not blow”, announced the meteorologist Robert Manta, for HotNews.
At the same time, at night, rains are also announced, but completely isolated: “We are talking about very low quantitative precipitation and only through the eastern part of the country, the Moldova area, at night”.
The weather on Easter Sunday
Easter Day brings pleasant weather in most parts of the country, but rainy periods are also expected, including in Bucharest, and it will snow in the mountains.
“Tomorrow a quite pleasant day in the west and south, up to 15-16 degrees. Indeed, in the southern areas there may be a few drops of rain in the first part of the day. But overall, a pleasant weather, but the morning will be cold, with values close to zero degrees in the northern half of the country. Rains are announced in the eastern area, especially in the Moldova area, and tomorrow in the south and southeast, around in the lunch hours, there may be a few drops of rain, and in the mountains a few light snows”, pointed out Robert Manta.
“In Bucharest, it doesn't rain at night, but tomorrow around noon there may be clouds and a few drops of rain, but the maximum goes to 14 degrees in Bucharest as well”, stated the meteorologist.
“The weather is colder than it should be”
Asked if it is normal to have minimums that drop to 0 degrees at night, given that we are close to the middle of April, the meteorologist admitted that the weather is colder than normal for the calendar period.
“The weather is colder than it should be. Even by 5-7 degrees. But it is not abnormal to have cold episodes, until the end of April cold episodes are possible according to Romanian climatology and there were even blizzards in the second part of April.
So it is not an abnormal cooling, nor too severe, but indeed the mornings bring us frost during this period, even tomorrow night and the day after tomorrow, especially in the central area”, concluded Robert Manta.
