Krasnoyarsk residents will be shown a drone light show

10 April 17:00

In honor of Cosmonautics Day, a drone light show will be held in Krasnoyarsk on April 12.

More than 2,000 miniature quadcopters with LEDs will rise into the evening sky and display colorful three-dimensional figures dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the first human flight into space.

“The aircraft will be launched from the territory of Rest Island at 21:00. You can watch the show on the section of the Central Yenisei embankment from the Communal Bridge to the River Station. There they will organize sound accompaniment for the event. In the event of unfavorable weather conditions, the show may be canceled or postponed,” the mayor’s office said.

The initiator and organizer of the show is the Geoscan company. To prepare it and check the animation, specialists will conduct test flights; small luminous figures may be visible over Krasnoyarsk.

Also, in order to ensure safety, traffic will be blocked in some sections of the road network, including on Dubrovinsky Street.
