The accused spoke up
The entrepreneur did not admit to the acts he was accused of and provided explanations. Earlier, in a statement published by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Białystok, he emphasized that the case had been suspended for years and, in his opinion, the actions of the prosecutor's office were limited.
He also emphasized that he was not under investigation for espionage, although such suggestions appeared in the media in the context of his acquaintance with a Belarusian citizen in whom the Internal Security Agency was interested.
The prosecutor's office announced that the first charges against the entrepreneur were announced in February 2019. They were supplemented in subsequent years – in October 2025 and January 2026.
Now the court will make the final assessment of the evidence. The trial may shed more light on the backstage of international tenders and business relations between Poland and Africa.
