Mircea Lucescu suffered a heart attack this morning, at the hospital, on the very day he was to be discharged.
The former national team selector is admitted to the University Hospital in Bucharest, after having health problems related to the heart in the last few days.
Mircea Lucescu is hospitalized in Intensive Care.
“During the morning, the patient suffered an acute myocardial infarction. He was taken urgently and promptly benefited from the necessary medical and therapeutic interventions, according to the protocols in force. Currently, his condition is stable, under close specialist monitoring. The patient remains hospitalized in the Cardiology Department, where he receives the appropriate medical care”announced the University Hospital.
