The Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory assessed the results of the partnership with the Republic of Belarus and outlined priority areas of cooperation for the future.

Mikhail Kotyukov noted that trade turnover between enterprises in the region and Belarusian partners is growing every year. Over 6 years, more than 318 thousand tons of rapeseed were supplied to Belarus. In return, the Krasnoyarsk Territory receives Belarusian equipment that has proven itself in harsh Siberian conditions: tractors, combines, quarry machines, loaders. In addition, in 2025, the region purchased 173 new large-class buses powered by Belarusian-made gas engine fuel. Another 55 vehicles will arrive by the end of May.

In 2026, the parties will continue to implement current projects. The plans include developing ties in culture, education, tourism, and trade. This year, the Krasnoyarsk Territory plans to purchase another 100 large-class city buses; Belarusian manufacturers also intend to participate in the auction.

“Residents of the region are satisfied with Belarusian buses – comfortable, warm, reliable. Drivers note that the cars operate confidently in our conditions. This is exactly the result for which we launch such projects. Trade turnover between our enterprises has been growing steadily for three years now – and this is not the limit. The region is ready to increase export supplies of agricultural products, industrial equipment, and aluminum. We have a solid foundation – and I am sure that this is just the beginning of our joint work,” Mikhail Kotyukov emphasized.

Chairman of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee Yuri Karaev called the Krasnoyarsk Territory a reliable partner among the regions of Russia: “Interregional cooperation has been and remains a strong foundation of the Union State. For the Grodno region, this is not just an honorable mission – it is daily work for results that are tangible both for business and for the residents of our countries.”

Mikhail Kotyukov recalled that April 2 is the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and Belarus: “We sincerely value our true fraternal friendship and the high level of economic and humanitarian interaction!”
